A teenager gets on a bus in Hampshire with a keyboard bungee-strapped to a golf trolley. Ollie was 14, and the open mics around Hampshire and Surrey were where it all began.
He’s still playing, now as a session musician and live performer for other artists, and writing for his own band Alor as an outlet of his own. Today we’re pleased to premiere ‘nuclear’, the first single from their debut album ‘61/350’.

It’s a slow, ambient, singer-songwriter piece with plagal harmony at its core, and it takes on existential dread head-on. Ollie describes it as an attempt to understand how anything can make sense when so many questions about what lies beyond remain unanswered. His own fear of space is the starting point.
The Manchester band recorded the album gradually over a year, building each track piece by piece. ‘nuclear’ is out now, and ‘61/350’ follows in spring 2027.
