“VOODOO DOLL” was written in Anna’s childhood bedroom in New Jersey, where the chorus melody and harmonies kept repeating in her head until she committed them to song. The track explores the exhaustion of being mistreated in romantic relationships and the longing for the other person to feel the same pain they caused. Finished in her LA home studio, the song became an emotional release, transforming frustration into empowerment.
