Milan-based rock outfit Endgame return with “Habitual Burnout”, a dark and electrifying dive into modern exhaustion. Blending cinematic rock, electronic tension, and trap-influenced rhythms, the track captures the claustrophobic pace of contemporary life and the strange comfort found in its chaos.
With over 6 million Spotify streams and a rapidly growing global following, Endgame have built a reputation for emotionally charged storytelling and explosive, genre-bending production. Formed by Matt (vocals), Ale (guitar), Bremb (bass), and Dani (drums), the band draws from influences like Starset, Smash Into Pieces and Bring Me The Horizon while carving out a sound defined by introspection, atmosphere, and raw emotional power.
Their catalogue already boasts three singles passing the one-million-stream mark: the breakout hit “Evil Ghost” (nearing 2 million), “The Hills”, and “Hurricane”. Their momentum has led to collaborations with international artists including French rock giants Onlap for the 2023 single “Stranger Things”, as well as shared stages with bands such as Self Deception and Eyes Set To Kill.
Now, “Habitual Burnout” pushes the band deeper into the territory of psychological storytelling. The song captures the chaos of a mind shaped by constant pressure, fast-paced living, and digital overload. Burnout becomes both a shield and a craving, numbing the pain while pulling its victim further into self-destruction. It is loud, unsettling, and disturbingly relatable.
“For us, Habitual Burnout is that moment you realize exhaustion has become your comfort zone and you don’t even know how to live without it anymore,” the band explains.
Writing the track became an act of survival. Rehearsals happened long after work, when everyone was drained and the emotional noise in their heads was impossible to ignore. The beat came first: heavy and restless, like a heart racing on adrenaline and anxiety. Warped synths and dirty guitars followed, a sonic mirror to the chaos overwhelming their daily lives. The lyrics spilled out like a confession, tracing the addictive side of stress, the numbness that creeps in, and the inner voices that never quiet down. Glitches and vocal effects were woven into the final mix to echo feelings of disconnection and overload.
“Habitual Burnout” stands as one of Endgame’s most vulnerable and volatile releases yet. It transforms emotional fatigue into strength, turning modern disillusionment into something cathartic and fiercely alive. Every note pushes against monotony. Every lyric fights to reclaim feeling in a world that constantly drains it.
Cinematic rock meets electronic grit in a track that captures the struggle, rebellion, and hidden passion of those refusing to go silent.
