Montréal independent artist Musroe has started the rollout for her next EP with “Left2Rot/Now”, a new two-song release exploring time, emotional intensity and change.
The tracks are short, closely connected and deliberately contrasting. “Left2Rot” pushes forward through tightening guitar textures and rising vocals, while “Now” strips away that momentum in favour of slower, echoing soundscapes.
Both songs were written and produced by Musroe, who has built her work around experimentation and an open approach to genre. Her influences range from alternative rock to ambient dream-pop, but the project is equally shaped by interests in visual art, design and exhibition culture.
That wider practice has already led to gallery presentations and fashion collaborations, and the upcoming EPHEMERAproject will continue developing those connections.
